If you travels from the Earth to the sun at the speed of light, that too would be instantaneous, but we saw it took you about 8 minutes. Yes, no matter the distance, it all seems to take the same time. At the speed of light the whole universe is "compressed" before you. So if it takes you an instant to travel across the whole universe, where do you go in the next instant? That is a paradox too. But photons experience no time, and move through all space.
